Al parecer el significado de esta frace ya no lleva en si el mensaje tan poderoso que se manifestaba en tiempos anteriores. El poder usar esta frace con tanto orgullo es un logro que ha sido dessarollado por la gente de Nicaragua durante muchos años y a cuesta de muchas travesias. Sin embargo la mayoria de la juventud de ahora usa esta frase facilmente, sin un verdaro sentimiento nacionalista  y sin interes alguno por el mensaje. El mensaje se a perdido ya que la mayoria de la juventud no respalda esta frace con hechos. No es suficiente decirlo, es necesario demostrarlo, y eso solo se logra con esfuerzos,  desarrollo personal y ante todo manteniendonos educados para poder defender nuestros derechos y el del progimo. La juventud de ahora no se preocupa por educarse & mantenerse informados. Se dejan llevar por lo que individuous corruptos y goviernos opresores les dicen sin investigar por si mismos. Si luchan y pelean lo hacen sin saber por quien pelean o por que motivo. Cuando hay motivo de revelarse no lo hacen por que se dejan corromper y manejar por aquellos que hacen promesas falsas.

El ser “Nica por Gracia de Dios” significa estar orgulloso de perteneser a una patria noble y bella. Por lo tanto lo minimo que le debemos a la patria es el educarnos, trabajar y ser gente de bien que se interese por el progreso del pais y de esa manera continuar ganando el derecho de decir soy Nica por Gracia de Dios.

NICARAGÜENSE POR GRACIA DE DIOS (NICARAGÜENSE BY GRACE OF GOD)

“Nicaragüense por Gracia de Dios” (Nicaragüense by Grace of God). These five words carry with them a powerful message of national honor and express the satisfaction of being Nica with unwavering pride. And why not say these words with such conviction when the people of Nicaragua have so much to be proud of. A rich and beautiful culture marked by a history of triumphs and tragedies that evoke tears of sorrow as well as tears of joy.

But do these words mean the same to the youths of this era? Or, can it be that the meaning behind these words has been diluted to the point where they no longer constitute anything more than a passing phrase.

It would appear that this phrase no longer carries with it the powerful meaning it once did. The right to use this phrase with such pride has been developed by the people of Nicaragua throughout the years by means of hard work, determination and in spite of many trials and tribulations. Unfortunately the majority of Nicaragua’s youth are now using this phrase casually, without a true nationalist feeling and without understanding the message behind the words. The meaning behind this phrase has been lost mainly because the youth does not support it with actions. It’s not enough to just say these words. One must demonstrate pride and that can only be done through hard work, by educating and bettering oneself and staying informed in order to defend our rights and those of our people. The majority of today’s youth are indifferent and do not worry about education and staying informed. They allow themselves to be influenced by corrupt individuals and oppressive governments without questioning their methods and motives. If they do fight and rebel they do so without knowing what or who they are fighting for. When there truly is a reason to rebel they don’t do so because they allow themselves to be corrupted by those who make false promises.

To be “Nica por Gracia de Dios”  means to be proud to belong to a beautiful and noble people. It goes without saying that the least we owe our nation is to educate ourselves, work and be people of good and in that manner continue to earn the right to say I am “Nica por Gracia de Dios”.
